Stocks of wheat, barley, soybeans up in North Dakota
FARGO – Stocks of spring wheat, durum wheat and winter wheat in North Dakota are higher than a year ago.

Cattle down in North Dakota; sheep unchanged
FARGO – The number of cattle in North Dakota is down over the previous year, while sheep are unchanged.
The Agriculture Department says cattle and calves in the state totaled 1.72 million on Jan. 1, down 2 percent over the year. It is the third consecutive drop since January 2007.
